Campus & Community Meals a free spaghetti meal on Mondays from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Congregational UCC-Whitewater, 133 South Franklin St. – All are welcome & invited!
FREE LUNCH - University Free Lunch and Whitewater Responds is being combined. FUMC will be offering free dinners twice a week. These dinners are basically homemade, carry-out, frozen, microwavable TV dinners served on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5-7pm. Each bag will include three (3) different meals. That gives the recipients the potential for six (6) meals per week. Out of respect for the safety of all concerned, the meals will be distributed through a window in the Prairie Street parking lot of the Methodist Church.
We hope that Whitewater Responds will help to alleviate some of the financial stress so many are experiencing. It is open to anyone with no questions asked. One person may pick up meals for roommates, those who don’t have transportation, whatever. While we cannot deliver, if an individual wants to act on behalf of a group, please have them call FUMC (262 473-2131). We will be happy to have the number of meals boxed for them.
First English Lutheran Church actively supports Lutheran-Episcopal Campus Ministries on the UW-Whitewater Campus, just blocks from the church.
