Confirmation
CONFIRMATION continues the second Wednesday of the month from 5:15 pm--7:15 pm
for all 7th and 8th graders.
Our Confirmation program is an educational ministry,
in partnership with parents, for youth in grades 7 and 8.
We have three goals...
1) learning the Christian tradition
(2) developing relationships
(3) growing as disciples.
The pastor is the lead teacher, assisted by additional coordinators and small group guides.
We have fun, learn in an interactive environment, and spend time in small groups each week. We alternate between a year on the Bible and a year on Luther’s Small Catechism (10 Commandments, Apostles’ Creed. Lord’s Prayer, etc.) Students also write worship notes; serve as acolytes, greeters, Communion servers, and nursery attendants; and participate in other fellowship
and service events.
