Women of ELCA

All women in the congregation are part of the
Women of the ELCA.
The women serve at many church events and promote fellowship and service year-round.

  • Harvest Family Fun Fair--Their biggest event held in November raises funds for specific ministries locally and globally, and to build a sense of community.

  • Lutheran World Relief Projects--The women make layettes, health kits, school kits, and quilts.

  • Women’s Hope, Joy, or Peace Circle Bible Study meet monthly.

  • Prayer shawls--are made by the women and are available to give to someone who needs comforting and prayers.

  • Pennies for Poverty--collected throughout the year to  help women and children who live in poverty.

  • Serve luncheons at funerals.

All Women are invited to a
Bible study afternoon
 Wednesday, August 9th
1 pm in Moksnes Hall.

Pastor Steve will be leading the study.  This traditionally is our summer meeting when Peace and Joy Circles come together for a combined Bible study.  The Bible study, written by Kelly Fryer, will explore “All anew,” which is also the theme of the 2017 Women of the ELCA Triennial Gathering in Minneapolis.
